For parties up to 40 we suggest 1 member of staff

Conference Menu

Registration/Morning Break

  • Fresh filter coffee
  • Earl Grey, English breakfast tea
  • Semi-skimmed milk
  • Jugs of fresh water
  • Frank's luxury shortbread biscuits (two per person – one is never enough)

Lunch

A selection of open baguettes and sandwiches

Open Baguettes

The fillings include:

- Paté and Cucumber 

- Smoked Salmon and Cucumber

- Chicken and Lemon Mayonnaise

- Cream Cheese and Chive (v)

- Avocado, Lettuce and Tomato (v)

- Hummus, Tomato and Lettuce (v)

 

(v) Vegetarian – if no specific fillings are requested we will always provide half vegetarian and half non-vegetarian fillings that will be split onto separate platters 

Sandwiches

A selection from the following fillings freshly made

  • - Wicks Manor Essex Honey Roast Ham with Suffolk Cider & Horseradish Mustard and Mixed Lead salad
  • - Freedom Food Chicken Mayonnaise
  • - Tuna and Sweetcorn
  • - Egg Mayonnaise – using free-range eggs, garnished with rocket (v)
  • - Farmhouse Mature Cheddar Cheese with Suffolk Real Ale Chutney and Mixed Leaf Salad (v)
  • - Cream Cheese and Fresh Cucumber (v)
  • - Hummus and Tomato – hummus handmade by our chef with tomato and mixed leaf salad (v)

Choose three from the following selection:

  • Coleslaw 
  • Caesar Salad – lettuce leaves dressed with parmesan shavings and a sprinkling of croutons

  • Potato Salad with spring onion and mayonnaise
  • Green leaf salad
  • Cous Cous salad with peppers and mixed herbs

 

Hand-made Quiche 

Our quiches are made using local free range eggs and seasonal produce where avaiilable (V)

Light Bites 

Choose three from the following selection:

  • Mini Sausage roll platter - Freshly baked by our chef with Olde English recipe sausage meat from Wicks Manor, Essex, and wrapped in a light, crisp puff pastry. They are a delicious treat – two per person.
  • Vegetarian Swirls - Our tasty vegetarian swirls are hand-made, freshly baked and filled with farmhouse mature cheddar cheese and pesto. Two swirls per person
  • Spinach and Ricotta Puffs - These vegetarian light puff pastry treats filled with ricotta cheese, spinach and nutmeg. Two puffs per person
  • Samosa Pinwheels - Filled with potato and spices (v)
  • Vol-au-vents with chicken and asparagus
  • Vol-au-vents with olive and feta (v)
